Getting started with the Foreman app
- Sign in with the account your company set up, or create one at grail-os.vercel.app/signup.
- Pick your trade on the Today screen (concrete, grading, underground, excavation or civil general foreman). Checklists and SOPs follow it.
- Your super or PM assigns work and uploads plans in GRAIL OS; they show up on your Today screen and on each job.
- No signal on site? Keep the app open — anything you save is kept on the phone and sent when you are back in range. Photos need signal to upload.
Common questions
- The plan scale reads wrong. Use “Calibrate on a dimension” and tap both ends of a dimension written on the sheet. A scanned or resized PDF does not match its printed scale.
- My time cards did not show up. They wait for approval in GRAIL OS → Field → Timecards.
- Delete my account. In the app: More → Your account → Delete my account. Or email us and we do it within 2 days.

Checklists, SOPs and calculators help a competent person do the work; they do not replace the plans, the specs, the engineer of record or OSHA requirements.
